Our History

World Missions for Jesus is a Christian missions organization with the goals: reaching the lost and building local churches. Our motto is “loving God, loving people.” World Missions for Jesus (WMFJ) has done missions work across the globe.

Through out the history of World Missions for Jesus, God has done amazing things. We want to take the time to highlight just a few of these great things God did through this ministry.

Biafra:
Ulrich Huyssen traveled to Biafra to bring help to the starving Christians. The plane had to land with only some kerosene lights, to keep it as dark as possible, as bombs were falling all around them. The mission was a success!

India:
Ulrich and Gisela Huyssen traveled by car from Germany to India. Ministering in most of the countries along the way. They also smuggled Bible courses into Afghanistan.

Nigeria:

Mission outreach and building of the mission station in the jungle of Nigeria, 55 miles away from Port Harcourt.

Ghana:
A mission station in the Volta Region, Ghana was build within a 10 000 square mile area that was a witchcraft fortress. The region had no missionary there before the station was built.

Vietnam:
Ulrich and Gisela followed the Lords call to go to Vietnam to open an orphanage where 50 children could find a home. Then they came across a group of 19 Montagnard orphans, which is a group of people who would have no chance to survive if the Viet Cong came into power. They managed and impossible task and brought 23 orphan children out of Vietnam. The orphans ended up in Christian homes in the U.S.

Philippines:
Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines. World Missions for Jesus brought food and aid to many villages. Most importantly, WMFJ brought the Lord to an unreached peoples group the Aita Tribe. WMFJ missionaries continued working there many years to help start churches and assist pastors.
For over 18 years WMFJ operated Bethesda, a home for un-wed mothers. Over 300 ladies with no hope came to us and found Jesus and the lives of the babies were saved from an abortion.
WMFJ started a pastoral training ministry and church plant ministry. Over 350 pastors trained and over 200 church planted in 3 years!

Today:
We have several established ministry outreaches in Asia and Germany.

In 2006, the Leuchthaus church opened its doors because of the obedience and work of Gisela Huyssen. She returned to her hometown to start a church and spread the love of Jesus.

We also have a weekly outreach to around 200 kids in our community.

World Missions for Jesus has developed the gloryfall ministry training worship leaders and worship teams. Now the focused has broadened to teach the whole church about True Worship.

TrueSound recording studio is also operated in partnership with World Missions for Jesus with the goal of promoting and spreading the gospel through the different avenues of media.
